After initially hanging their hat on how they’d disrupt the plastics industry with industry-leading tools and processes, Shell Polymers’ updated customer research showed that customers cared most about having a supplier they could trust to have their best interests at heart.

After examining the research, I came up with a new positioning for the brand. The promise? Shell Polymers is the transparent supplier customers have been craving—one that’s here to form real relationships…also known as (Real)ationships.

This sentiment was the basis for the entire “(Real)ationships Start Here” brand campaign and accompanying marketing content.

Key deliverables:
- An updated content strategy that aligned closer with the brand campaign mentality
-A campaign toolkit outlining voice/tone and messaging guidance for other agencies on the account
-An immersive microsite that embodied the spirit of (Real)ationships
-Interactive videos for the National Plastics Expo that incorporated the new campaign language
