NATIONAL MALL GATEWAY

As the leading authority on “America’s Front Yard,” the Trust for the National Mall wanted to make the Mall a bit more accessible to teachers, students and lifelong learners ahead of America’s Semiquincentennial.

I worked with a team of talented designers to bring National Mall Gateway to life. This digital platform is meant to empower people around the world to “visit” and connect with the National Mall from anywhere. There are learning resources available for download, a virtual National Mall tour and more.

My work included:

-A naming exercise
-A robust style guide including voice, tone, photography guidelines, etc.
-Strategy around the National Mall walking tours
-”Mall Moments” articles outlining key events occurring on Mall grounds
-Overviews of key monuments and memorials (descriptor, history, reflection questions)
